MOLES

mole.jpg

Moles are surprisingly small mammals that "swim" underground. Typically with a high population of moles, it serves as a warning that there is a high population of soil pests.

  • Moles are carnivorous creatures that prefer to eat insects rather than eat your garden plants.

  • The tunnels moles dig can ruin your garden and lawn and make an easy access to your plants for other rodents.

  • Moles prefer moist, loamy soil and are most active in the early morning or evening in the spring and fall.

  • Surface tunnels or ridges are a telltale sign of a mole.

  • Moles dig at least ten inches underground.

If you have a persistent mole problem, the best solution is to trap it into a cage. Frankly, this is often times the only way to get rid of moles.
